Research Associate - Medical Statistics (20% FTE) • Ref: RA810

£23,661 to £29,099 per annum, pro rata 

A statistician is required for a part-time, 6 month post to contribute to a research project assessing the care of older people with acute coronary syndrome. This will involve the analysis of existing routine clinical data from the Myocardial Ischaemia National Audit Project leading to an academic publication. The post-holder will be required to have an MSc in applied statistics (preferably with a health or medical component) and ideally should have previous experience of large data sets in a health setting. A high level of proficiency with a common statistical package (e.g. SAS, STATA or SPSS) will be required.
