This established academic post is now available in the Department of Statistics at the University
of Warwick.

The Departments of Statistics and Mathematics (two leading departments in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise) have established MASDOC, a new centre for doctoral training in Applied Mathematics, Probability and Statistics. You will be involved in the teaching, research and administration of MASDOC, as well as being a full member of the Department of Statistics. This represents an exciting opportunity to be involved in an innovative approach to PhD training in a high-visibility area.

You will be an experienced academic with a strong record of published research in statistical methodology (interpreted broadly to include modern approaches to statistical computation, inference for stochastic models, etc.) It is expected that the appointment will be made at Associate Professor level. In the case of an exceptionally well qualified candidate, appointment at the level of Associate Professor (Reader) may be possible.

You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification.
