Senior Information Analyst/Statistician in Cardiovascular Disease, UCLUCL Division of Surgery & Interventional Science Institute of Cardiovascular Science Senior Information Analyst/Statistician in Cardiovascular Disease The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £39,510 - £46,635 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. The National Institute for Clinical Outcomes Research (NICOR) is part of the new UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science within the Faculty of Biomedical Science at UCL. NICOR is currently based at the Heart Hospital but will be shortly moving to new premises. Its role is to undertake innovative development of independent analyses and reports for several national cardiac audit databases for the relevant professional societies and statutory organisations to help improve clinical outcomes and patient care. Your role will be to lead on the development of statistical analyses on national cardiac clinical audit databases, develop risk adjusted outcomes measures and methods to identify underperformance in cardiovascular units and lead a team of NICOR information analysts. You must have a higher degree in medical statistics and experience of analysing longitudinal clinical datasets and expertise in statistical modelling techniques is essential. You should also have experience of managing a team of information analysts. You will be working within an innovative and supportive environment with cardiologists and surgeons from the relevant professional societies and statisticians in the department of Epidemiology and Public Health at UCL. You will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
